New Hip Hop Music Artist Talks New Music In his Latest Interview

Please give a brief introduction of who you are?

My name is Viva Mescal. I am a MC from East Los Angeles, Boyle Heights to be exact. I am found of the East of the River Network and I have been making music since 2012 and have performed at hundreds of shows in LA.

We hear that you have an album coming out? Tell us more about that and when is it expected to release?

Yes I have my first full length album titled; Weird Turn Pro: The Master’s Degree. It is set to be released April 19, 2017 on all digital music outlets.

Who are your musical inspirations?

My musical inspirations include A Tribe Called Quest, DJ Quik, Dr Dre, Wu-Tang, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, The Doors, Pink Floyd and James Brown just to name a few.

Can you tell us more about your Pre-Sale for your album and giveaways and special credits for all of your supporters?

I love my supporters and like most independent artist my inspiration and lively hood stems from the connection with my fans. I wanted to offer my fans something special for purchasing my album, so my team and I came up with a Limited Package consisting of an exclusive T-Shirt, Poster, Stickers, CD copy of my album with their name on the inside credits of my album art. I want each person who ordered to forever be apart of my musical history.

When are you expected to go on tour?

I am leaving on the #SecretShowTour with Mad Macks and Wil E. Haze on April 26, 2017. We will be making our way up the Pacific North West from LA to Seattle and down, totaling 17 cities before coming back home onMay 19th. Im super excited, this is my longest tour to date and has already opened doors to broadening our fan base.

Do you currently have any music videos online?

Videos have been my thing this year. I’ve dropped 3 new music videos since the start of the new year; All My Life, Cherry of my Blunt and Run It Back, with another 3 ready to drop in April and May. You can find them on the EOTRNetwork Youtube Channel or on my website.

Where do you see your music career going in the next 6 months?

I feel like certain opportunities have narrowly missed me in the past. Some of it due to myself, some of it due to others and some of it can be just chalked up to bad timing. But 2017 has had a different feel to it so if I can keep on being present in those big moments and make the most of them, I see myself making an impact on the Global Hip Hop Music Scene the same way I’ve reach my people locally. I see myself overseas reaching fans from different continents and cultures. I see myself dropping 2 more albums within that time and I see myself prospering.

Do you have any special Shout outs to your fans and supporters?

I want to shout out to everyone who hits me up and tells me they believe in me. To all my East of the River family, they know who they are. And thank you to all my fans that pre-order the album, it really is made by you and to know there’s people out there literally waiting for my music to drop with anticipation and high hopes means the most.

What other events and performances should we know about?

Well on the eve of my albums release, April 18, 2017 I will be broadcasting on Facebook Live for 24 Hours straight to get people to order my damn album! I will have special guest from the Music, Movie, Media world stopping by so if you want to tune into that find me on FB, Mescal Miranda.

How can we reach you online on social media?
